Award for a new book about camels marks the end of a unique Autism Awareness Month

London: ‘On World Autism Awareness Day 2020, Birmingham, United Kingdom based Hump Group launched the book ‘Camel Crazy: A Quest for Miracles in the Mysterious World of Camels’ authored by Christina Adams and published by New World Library.  World Autism Awareness Day was declared by the United Nations as a global day of celebration in 2007.  This day is celebrated annually on the 2nd April to recognise and celebrate the rights of persons with autism.

‘Camel Crazy’ is an inspirational, feel-good and fascinating literary journey about how one person can change the world.   The book shares the story of a mother’s quest to obtain camel milk for her son with autism and the resulting exploration of camel’s special importance to culture, science and people with health conditions everywhere.   During the amidst of a global health pandemic (COVID-19), the book has brought a message of ‘hope, inspiration and guidance during these uncertain times’. Hump Group also celebrated the end of World Autism Awareness Month 2020 by announcing that ‘Camel Crazy: A Quest for Miracles in the Mysterious World of Camels’ won an award in the Nautilus Book Awards 2019 program.  ‘Camel Crazy’ won a silver award in the category of Health, Healing, Wellness and Vitality.  The book is sold internationally and has gained enthusiastic notice from general audiences, scientists, nomads and health experts in the US, India, UAE, UK and beyond.
