Pakistan Women Cricket Team Tour to England

The Pakistan Women Cricket Team is currently visiting England. The tour is scheduled to be held from 12thJune – 8th July,2016. It consists of 3 ODI matches & 3 T20 matches.The 3 ODI matches of this tour are a part of the ongoing ICC ODI Championship which is a qualification process for the ICC Women’s World Cup to be held in England in June 20.The top 8 teams of the World are participating in this Championship wherein the top 4 teams will directly qualify for the World Cup and the rest of the 4 teams will have to play in the ICC qualifiers in order to qualify. Pakistan is currently in 7th position.Prior to this tour the Pakistan Team toured England in 2013 wherein the ODI Series was won by England whereas the T20 Series was tied 1-1. The players and the team management are confident of playing good cricket that will pave way for more international matches for the Pakistani team.
