Geneva: Seminar on Growing Extremism in South Asia; Repercussions For the West was held at Room No XXIV United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) Head office during the 37th Human Rights session of UNHRC. Hosted by Yoana Barakova. The seminar was organized by United Schools International and Co-Sponsored by the European Foundation for South Asian Studies (EFSAS). Keynote Speakers were Dr. Paul Stott ”History of Jihadism: The British South Asian Nexus”, Lt Col Serge Stroobants ”Terrorism, South Asia, NATO and the EU”, Mr Maarten Bolhuis ” South Asia and Europe The nexus between asylum, immigration and Jihadism”, Mr Junaid Qurehi ”Pan Islamic and Jammu & Kashmir”.Also were present Ms Isabela Favero, Dr Ali Akber, Abbas Butt, Collet Boutard, Naeem Khan, Arif Ajakia, Dr Hidayat Ali Bhutto, Dr Lakhu Luhana, Abdul Rauf Laghari, Dr Shabbir Ch, Sardar Amjad Yousaf, Councillor Ali Daalat, Nasir Aziz Khan, Jamil Maqsood, Councillor Ghulam Hussain, Ghulam Ghous Ch, Usman Kiani, Mohammed Munir, Cynthia HP, Madam Claudia Waedlich, Munir Mengal, Sajid Hussain and many others.
