Birmingham: The Association of Islamic Charitable Project (AICP) presented today Mawlid at their Birmingham Center to celebrate the Birth of our beloved Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). The late prominent Muhaddith Shaykh Abdullah Al-Harariyy started AICP in Lebanon after settling their in the 1950’s. Now headed by Dr Shaykh Hussam Qurakirah , AICP is an organization that is spread throughout the world and operates in over 50 different countries teaching people about Islam. Today’s event held at their Birmingham Branch at 42 Yardley Green Road was aimed at doing just that. It was organized by some of the students learning at this AICP center under Dr Ashraf Malhas and Shaykh Aliyy. It included short presentations given by both Brother Aabir and Naim, Segregated Sisters Nasheed Performance, Madrasah Students Art Competition,Children Activity Area, Sweet and Savoury Food Stalls, Free Raffle Prize Draws and a short guided tour by other brothers taking the guests through a timeline of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) Key Note Speeches and many mores.
