A great air of enthusiasm at the launch of the Birmingham Interfaith Week

Birmingham: Interfaith Week Launch at Council House Victoria Square “There was a great air of enthusiasm at the launch of the Birmingham Interfaith Week programme in the Council House on Fri 10th Nov.As Honorary President of the Birmingham Council of Faiths, The Lord Mayor, Councillor Ann Underwood, officially opened the event emphasising the important work carried out by Faith Organisations in Birmingham. Dr Peter Rookes, BCF Secretary, explained that the week is an opportunity to raise the profile of faith groups, which collectively are the largest part of the charity sector. There are 13 different events taking place during the week celebrating spirituality, song, dance, meditation, prayer, humanity, climate change, community, & health & well being.
