The new year 2017 celebrations in Birmingham West Midlands UK

Birmingham:The New year 2017 was celebrated spectacularly across the globe. Thousands of residents attended a beautiful gathering held outside the central library in Birmingham.which is the second largest city of Great Britain.A firework display was held as the calendar changed and there were arrangements of amusement for the people.On this occasion people exchanged gifts with their beloved ones.With an hope that new year will bring peace and all the hatred and extremism would be buried under the year passed.We hope that the Year 2017 will bring a message of love , peace ,tolerance, joy and unity.Coverage by S M Irfan Tahir Photojournalists National Union of Journalists (NUJ) Great Britain.
