Birmingham charity Amirah Foundation declared insolvent

Birmingham based charity Amirah foundation which claimed to be helping vulnerable women and victims of domestic abuse has been declared insolvent CEO Shaz Manir and chair of trustees Nurjahan are accused of financial irregularities allegdly ”cooking” the books & bunged ”backhanders” to prominent and influential figures, family members and friends.

The finding have been reported by the Trustees of the Amirah Foundation to The Charity Commission, the Big Lottery Fund, West Midlands Police, West Yorkshire Police and Action Fraud.

Alisdair J Findlay James ( Insolvency practitioners) limited, Saxon House, Saxon Way, Cheltenham, GL 52 6QX, is qulified to act as an insolvency practioner and a creditors meeting will be held on 1 March 2018 at 2.30 pm in section 100 of the Insolvency Act 1986.
